Budapest weekend

I finally read enough of the manual for our camera to take what feels like a decent picture - and no better place than Budapest

...so with the kids at home with Grandma and family, we ran away to the castle district for my birthday weekend...starting with an exciting 2.5 drive out in a Friday night snowstorm*. And we found some stuff to do -- taking pictures in the crazy cold until my hands could no more; a Cezanne exhibition, Indian food, the Hobbit, IKEA...it was like time-compression dating.

*Fortunately we have great snow tires, courtesy of our brother-in-law, a tire pro.
