Not like you're thinking... the chickens are in the bag and they are alive.

Another snowy day, this time with fresh chicken

After a friendly visit with Veronika's godparents Miklos (MEEK-losh) and Anszi (AN-see), they kindly gave us two young chickens that had recently hatched and will eventually be egg-layers.

They are wonderfully good-natured and humorous people. We will miss them when they move out of the area, as soon as their house sells.
