Time out for a tram.
This is (apparently) a famous TV personality, who happened to have to gall to show is face in public in off-hours. I photographed him. Get over it.
The ever-photographable Szecsenyi chain bridge, replete with lion.
From the top. There is a little train that goes almost vertically up the side of the hill - they are really neat, custom wood tram cars. I photo'd them but refuse to show them.
At the top is actually a castle. I won't show much of it, it just goes on forever. But I really like this guy's brand of madness.
Just an example of the grandness in stone and such. Somewhere in here is a guy who kinda looks like me. Ok - I'll say it for you - "you know, other people actually put useful info in their blog".
The obligatory picture of Parliament and stuff upstream. That fuzzy spot is Margit Sziget, the island.
Climbing girl desperately trying to use the scopes.
Proudly embarrassed. C'mon now, they only put the sign on one side.
The boy shooting the bow, native style! He hit the target every shot.
The girl was not so successful, but look at the form! Making her papa proud.
Home of the founder of the wife's profession, discovered while rushing to catch one tram from another in the rain, on a bum tip from the driver - one of those "one minute walks" that turns into 20. Good fortune followed us though.
And, the quintessential photo of the tram driver taking a smoke break at the end of the line, near the end of the day.
